Could it be that the ethnic cleansing that is now going on is quite distinct from dissatisfaction with the elections? Were these attacks planned to occur regardless of who won the vote?

This has nothing to do with the elections but everything to do with a planned eviction of people who have owned land in particular areas. All politicians did is create the ethnic tension and the election was the trigger

My people in the Rift Valley were warned that they would have to vacate if Raila came to power. I think it definitely merits investigation to find out whether the evictions were planned before the elections. There are a number of people who seem to think so. Personally, I dunno.
