ive been out of the political loop for so long that i didnt know she was part of pnu until i saw the videos and interviews online. honestly, i didnt recognize her.. while she spoke, i felt she come off as being abrasive. however, i suppose among the women's movement, we rarely talk about ambition especially how to garner and sustain political will while remaining true to the one's core. case in point, the current debate regarding ms clinton's bid to run under the democractic party. mara, she is too tough.. another time, her tears and excitement look forced.. wtf!

There is nothing quite as sad as a hero falling from grace. The way you are going, you never know, you may end up being the heroine for lots of little girls too. Maybe Martha just taught you what you shouldn't do once you get there.
