Watching live births on you tube is an absolutely horrible idea when you’re pregnant. I do so much better with my head in the sand! I mean I know what happens at the end but damn. OOOUUUCH!!!!!!!!
Would I be a bad mother for wanting a c-section?
Also, am I a bad mother for invading the child’s privacy so early and posting a picture of the ultrasound? oh well!

The first of the many questions you will be asking yourself on this journey called motherhood. Most of them begin thus…am I a good/bad mother for…? No you are not bad but even you will find that hard to believe.
All the best on your journey.

I didn’t blog about my pregnancy but I did chronicle my daughter’s first year and ended had mixed feelings about putting her pictures up etc. but it felt good to share and helped draw out other blogging mamas on KBW and was also appreciated by my global friends…like the above commentor said this will be the first of many of a serious of self-doubting questions, but you NEED to believe that you will do the best for your child as her/his mother.
And no you are not bad for wanting to have a c-section…had to have one b/c of a breech baby and I’m really glad I ended up going that way instead of natural. As my O-B says, focus on the outcome i.e. a healthy baby. The grandma’s will probably make you feel guilty for not doing it the “real way” so be prepared for that.
